Cheap Trick é uma banda de rock americana de Rockford, Illinois, formada em 1973. A formação da banda consistia do vocalista Robin Zander, do guitarrista Rick Nielsen, do baixista Tom Petersson e do baterista Bun E. Carlos.

Cheap Trick lançou seu álbum de estréia em 1977 e encontrou sucesso no Japão com o lançamento de seu segundo álbum, In Color, no final daquele ano. A banda alcançaria popularidade nos Estados Unidos em 1979 com seu inovador álbum Cheap Trick At Budokan. O Cheap Trick alcançou o Top 10 nas paradas americanas em 1979 com “I Want You to Want Me” e chegou ao topo das paradas em 1988 com “The Flame”.

Ao longo de sua carreira, Cheap Trick experimentou vários ressurgimentos de popularidade e já vendeu mais de 20 milhões de álbuns. A banda faz turnê consistentemente, totalizando mais de 5.000 shows feitos. O Cheap Trick foi introduzido no Hall da Fama do Rock and Roll em 2016.
