Sorrow Plagues é uma banda de um homem só de black metal do músico britânico David Lovejoy, que compõe, executa e produz a totalidade de sua música. O projeto começou no final de agosto de 2014 com o lançamento “It Will Never End”.
Sorrow Plagues combina a agressão e a produção crua do black metal com as paisagens sonoras etéreas do shoegaza e pós-rock para criar um clímax proporcionando uma experiência catártica a todos os ouvintes. Os ouvintes têm descrito um amplo espectro de experiências entregues pela música com alguns dizendo “acalma a alma para baixo” para dizer que é ” fortemente recomendado se você gosta de atmosfera depressiva”
