The Offspring é uma banda de rock americana de Garden Grove, Califórnia, formada em 1984. Originalmente formada sob o nome de Manic Subsidal.
Ao longo de 35 anos de carreira, eles lançaram nove álbuns de estúdio e experimentaram mudanças na formação, mais notavelmente com seus bateristas. O baterista que mais serviu foi Ron Welty, que substituiu o baterista original James Lilja em 1987, e ficou com a banda por 16 anos; ele foi substituído por Atom Willard em 2003 e quatro anos depois por Pete Parada.
The Offspring é frequentemente creditado – ao lado de outras bandas de punk californiana Green Day, Rancid, Bad Religion, NOFX, Blink-182, Pennywise e AFI- por reviver o interesse popular pelo punk rock nos anos 90.
