Vulture Lord é uma banda norueguesa de black metal, com alguns toques de thrash. Tiveram três nomes, Interment (1990), Energumen (1991-1992), Coffin of Lament (1993) e Faun (1993-1995), e finalmente Vulture Lord em 1995.
Vulture Lord foi uma das primeiras bandas de black metal e levaram 13 anos para gravar seu primeiro álbum completo. Para uma banda, que existe há tanto tempo, eles mantiveram um status relativamente discreto por todo esse tempo.
